The main task of TÜV Rheinland Bulgaria is to support the Bulgarian companies and to assist in the free movement of their products and services on the European and international markets.

• DAKkS - as part of the TÜV Rheinland Group we work under the general accreditation of the accreditation body of the Federal Republic of Germany
• EA BAS - we maintain Bulgarian accreditations for the respective standards, received from the Executive Agency Bulgarian Accreditation Service

The new ISO 45001 standard for occupational health and safety management systems was published on March 12, 2018.

BS OHSAS 18001 will be withdrawn with a transitional period of three years.

Companies that are certified according to BS OHSAS must adapt their management system to the new standard by March 2021. We recommend that the transition be made as part of a regular audit, which should be supplemented by an audit of the new requirements.
