Test Engineer for Active Medical Devices (m/f/x)

As a Test Engineer, you ensure that our customers’ active medical devices meet the highest safety standards. In detail, that means:

• You evaluate active medical products in accordance with International and European standards.
• You primarily conduct electrical safety testing based on the standard series IEC/EN 60601 including all particulars and collaterals.
• You compile test reports based on testing and constructional evaluations
• You are responsible to review technical documentation for Risk Management, Usability and/or Programmable Electrical Medical Systems (PEMS) of selected product groups in the active medical device area in your field of expertise, such as dental medical devices, active surgical, or electrophysiological devices.
• You support our medical technology customers with your expertise and maintain a professional relationship.

• Degree course in natural sciences or (electrical-) engineering
• Professional experience and knowledge of relevant guidelines, norms, and standards as the EN/IEC 60601-1 ff series as well as other product-specific standards are a plus
• Fluent in your second language English and driver’s license if requested
• Local business trips may be required to support your clients on site
