03.04.2024 TÜV Rheinland participated ICDT 2024
International Conference on Display Technology (ICDT 2024) was held at the Hefei Binhu International Convention and Exhibition Center. TÜV Rheinland Greater China, an international independent third-party testing, inspection and certification organization, attended this event as a strategic partner. During the event, TÜV Rheinland signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the Society for Information Display (SID), and released the Whitepaper on Screen Privacy Protection of Display Devices; TÜV Rheinland also delivered a keynote report at the Human Factor and Visual Health Special Forum, and invited strategic partners to deliver four keynote speeches.

TÜV Rheinland Group, an international independent third-party testing, inspection, and certification organization, announced that it has issued its “Perceptual Color Volume” Certification to the new Lenovo Yoga Pro 9i (16”, 9) laptop unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES).
31.08.2023 Screen Protection Blue Light Reduction Requirements on Screen Accessories Released
Amidst increasing scientific and medical research on blue light exposure, Eyesafe and TÜV Rheinland are releasing updated blue light accessory requirements, targeting the light filtered between 435-440 nanometers (nm). Studies suggest this wavelength poses the greatest risk to retinal health as referenced by the Spectral Weighting Factors for Blue-Light Hazard as published by the International Commission on Non-Ionizing Radiation Protection (ICNIRP) in 2013 and the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) in 2015.
