How can I extend the validity of my FS Engineer certificate?
The FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) certificate depicts the expiry date of the certificate. Approximately 3 months before your FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) certificate expires, you should contact TÜV Rheinland by

and inform them that you intend to extend the validity of your certificate. After contacting TÜV Rheinland you will immediately get information on what is required to get a new and valid FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) certificate.
How do I get the FS Engineer certificate?
You will have to attend one of the trainings offered in the TÜV Rheinland Functional Safety Training Program, sit an exam at the end of the attended training. If you pass this exam and fulfil the requirements of having 3 years of business experience in functional safety and an engineering degree - you will get the FS Engineer (TÜV Rheinland) certificate.
